Who installs the pool?
A landscaper or pool builder from our partner network in your region. Tell us the model and your postcode and we will put you in touch. If you are handy, you can also install the pool yourself.
What does installation cost?
That depends on the ground, access and equipment. Your installer will give you a binding quote after a site visit.
How much space and what access do I need?
The excavation is 25 cm larger than the outside dimensions on each side, so for the NORDIQ 23 about 6.10 × 2.95 m. Add the technical shaft at the end: it extends 0.80 m beyond the outside dimensions, is about 1.57 m wide and around 0.75 m deep. The pool arrives in one piece and is placed by crane or telehandler.
How is the pool delivered?
In one piece by lorry, delivered to the kerbside. You need a crane or telehandler to place it. Freight within Germany costs €2,320 according to the price list.
What does it cost to run per year?
The filter system uses 180 watts. In summer (May to September, 8 hours a day) that is around 220 kWh, about €65. For winter we recommend active overwintering: from December to January the pumps run 12 hours overnight, another roughly 135 kWh, about €40. Altogether that is around €105 of electricity per year at €0.30 per kWh.
Do I need planning permission?
This depends on local building regulations. If in doubt, ask your local building authority; your installer knows the local rules.
Can I add extras later?
Yes. A counter-current system, heat pump or solar absorber can be added without lowering the water level.
